Gregory A. Whittmore Individual & Business Bankruptcy I represent individuals seeking to discharge overwhelming debt through a Chapter 7 filing, and individuals seeking to get more time to pay off debts through a Chapter 13 plan. There are many myths about what bankruptcy can do for you, and about which debts are dischargeable and which are not. Together, we can examine your finances and determine which path is best for you. No matter which path you choose, I will do my best to see that you are treated fairly. If your business is facing financial problems, a Chapter 11 reorganization of debt may the answer. Before you liquidate everything for which you worked so hard for, we should determine what protection bankruptcy can provide for you. Corporate Transactions For my business clients, I assist with all manner of corporate transactions, including, drafting and filing articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, purchase, lease, and sale of property and assets, contract negotiation and drafting, and business dissolution. Business & Commercial Litigation I regularly represent my business clients on civil matters relating to the operation of their businesses, such as, breach of contract, UCC disputes, lease disputes, and disagreements over delivery of goods and/or performance of services. When the inevitable problems arise in business, you will have an experienced and skilled litigator looking out for you. Property Litigation A portion of my litigation practice is dedicated to representing clients on property disputes. I have successfully represented individuals, developers, homeowners associations, and billboard advertising firms on issues including, easements, rights-of-way, boundary disputes, covenant disputes, and lease disputes. If you have questions about these, or any other legal services, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to answer your questions and schedule a meeting to discuss how I can help you. *Not Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization The information you obtain at this site is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
